PM Modi France Visit News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Nice on Sunday during his France tour, where he inaugurated the ‘India Innovates 2026’ program. On this occasion, he described India-France relations as a partnership based on trust, innovation, shared values and solutions to global challenges.
PM Modi said that India and France have worked together in areas like International Solar Alliance, Artificial Intelligence, security and sustainability. He extended an open invitation to global startups, investors and universities to come to India and participate in co-development, joint research and shared manufacturing.
Innovation is in India’s DNA- PM Modi
PM Modi said that ‘Innovation is in India’s DNA’ And the success of any technology is not determined only by its market value, but by its positive impact on human life. He described India’s AI vision as based on the concept of “AI for All”. He invited startups, investors and educational institutions from across the world to work together with India.

Increasing number of startups in India
The Prime Minister said that today’s India has become not only a consumer of technology but also a country providing technological solutions at the global level. He said that the increasing number of startups in India and the reforms made in the nuclear energy sector will take the country to new heights in the field of clean energy and technological innovation.

At the event, French President Emmanuel Macron warmly welcomed Prime Minister Modi and congratulated him on becoming one of the longest serving Prime Ministers of independent India. Describing India as a major partner of global innovation, Macron described cooperation between the two countries as the need of the future. French President Emmanuel Macron also praised PM Modi’s leadership abilities and India’s progress.
Let us tell you that this visit of Prime Minister Modi is taking place at a time when VivaTech 2026 is going to be organized in France from 17 to 20 June, which is considered to be Europe’s largest startup and technology conference.
