New Delhi: A new controversy has arisen in Indian politics regarding a photograph taken during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indonesia. Objecting to a social media post of Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has criticized the party. Questions raised on Congress post
According to media reports, a photo of Prime Minister Modi and Puan Maharani was shared from the official social media account of Maharashtra Congress. In this post, a sarcastic caption was written along with the picture, which started a political controversy. Responding to this comment of Congress, Priyanka Chaturvedi said that any political party should take care of language and decorum during its protest.
He wrote on social media that such comments from the official handle of Congress are not appropriate. She said it was wrong to objectify a woman to target a political figure and the level of political criticism should be better.
Why did Priyanka Chaturvedi express her displeasure?

She said political differences have their place, but it is important to maintain respect for women in public life. In Maharashtra, both the parties are allies in the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance.

Along with Prime Minister Modi, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, House of Representatives Speaker Puan Maharani and People’s Consultative Assembly Speaker Ahmad Mujani were also present in the program.
