On the other hand, French President Emmanuel Macron has also reached Mumbai and will attend the India-AI Impact Summit on February 19. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis welcomed him at the airport. During this time, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat was also present there. The Ministry of External Affairs also welcomed Macron, writing, “Towards a stronger India-France strategic partnership! Maharashtra and Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat welcomed him warmly at the Mumbai airport. During this visit, PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with President Macron. The two leaders will launch the India-France Year of Innovation 2026. “This visit will give further impetus to the vibrant India-France Strategic Partnership.”
During this visit, Macron will attend the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi on February 19. There will be a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Macron in Mumbai on Tuesday. During this, both the leaders will review the progress made so far under the India-France strategic partnership and exchange views on regional and global issues.
Apart from this, again on February 19, PM Modi and Macron will meet in the national capital New Delhi. Macron will jointly inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 with Prime Minister Modi at around 5.15 pm today. Industrialists, startup founders, researchers and people associated with innovation from both the countries will also be present on this occasion.
