PM Modi gifted new Amrit Bharat trains to Kerala, said – Now not only the rich but also the poor have credit cards
PM Modi Kerala Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Kerala today (Friday). During this, he laid the foundation stone of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub in the state. PM Modi also launched PM Swanidhi Credit Card, which will provide financial help to street vendors and people working on footpaths.
In Thiruvananthapuram, the Prime Minister flagged off three new Amrit Bharat trains and one new passenger train. The trains that were flagged off include Amrit Bharat trains on Nagercoil–Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram–Tambaram, Thiruvananthapuram–Charlapalli routes. Apart from this, a new passenger train was also started between Thrissur and Guruvayur.

On this occasion, PM Modi said, “Today, the development of Kerala has got a new momentum due to the efforts of the Central Government. Rail connectivity in the state has become stronger. An important step has been taken towards making Thiruvananthapuram a big startup hub of the country. A big initiative related to poor welfare has started from the soil of Kerala. The PM Swanidhi Credit Card will directly benefit the street vendors and sidewalk vendors across the country.”
