Kuwait City: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going on a two-day visit to Kuwait on 21st and 22nd December. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years. On Prime Minister Modi's visit to Kuwait, Secretary Arun Kumar Chatterjee said that Prime Minister Modi will visit Kuwait on the invitation of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Before PM Modi's visit, India's Ambassador to Kuwait Adarsh Swaika said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit is very important. Especially in the context of three important facts. First of all, this visit is taking place to Kuwait after a long gap of 43 years. Second, it is the only country in the Gulf region which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not visited yet. Third, if you look even between the two sides, this is the first high-level visit in the last decade. That's why this journey is very special.
