Before leaving for Russia, PM Modi wrote on social media platform X, “I am going to Kazan, Russia to attend the BRICS conference. India attaches great importance to BRICS and I look forward to wide-ranging discussions there on a wide range of topics. I am also looking forward to meeting various leaders there.” BRICS countries basically include Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Some other countries have also been included in it. The 16th BRICS summit will be held in Kazan, Russia from 22 to 24 October.

BRICS countries are together thinking about a new currency. There is a possibility of discussion regarding this in the BRICS summit. If there is a mutual agreement among all the countries regarding the new currency, then the BRICS member countries will make mutual deals in the new currency instead of the US dollar. Which can prove to be a big blow for America.
