PM Modi returned to Delhi after a three-day US tour, shared a video and listed his achievements

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening shared a brief account of his US visit as he returned to Delhi, which he described as “very intense and successful”. During the visit, PM Modi attended the Quad Leaders Summit in Delaware, the hometown of US President Joe Biden, and also presented his views at the United Nations' 'Summit of the Future'.

PM Modi said that his visit was fruitful, with diverse engagements and focus on several important themes. He also shared a short video, which included highlights of his engagements. The video showed him addressing the Indian diaspora, interacting with American business leaders and highlights of his address at the United Nations. PM Modi posted on social media platform X and wrote, “It has been a fruitful USA visit, with diverse engagements and focus on several themes aimed at improving our planet.”

While hosting the Quad summit held in Delaware, President Biden invited PM Modi to his home, which Modi described as a heart-warming moment for him. He said, “I was deeply impressed by the warmth and cordiality of President Biden.” PM Modi was joined by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the Quad summit. PM Modi said on the occasion, “Our message is clear: the Quad is here to stay, to assist, to partner and to complement.”

He also informed that India will contribute USD 7.5 million to the Quad Moonshot initiative under the vision of “One Earth, One Health”. At the end of the visit, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that this visit will prove to be helpful in further strengthening India's relations with the US.
