How many rupees were saved due to ethanol? PM Modi made it clear at the inauguration of Jewar Airport

Conflict continues in the Middle East. The demand for crude oil and petrol is continuously increasing, due to which its prices are also increasing. Amidst the struggle, PM Modi mentioned ethanol. He told the farmers in UP that ethanol has been made from your sugarcane. Due to this the country’s dependence on crude oil has reduced. If ethanol production had not increased, the country would have had to import about 700 crore liters of crude oil from abroad every year.

Actually, PM Modi inaugurated the Noida International Airport in Jewar on Saturday. During this, he addressed a meeting. During the address, PM Modi described the ethanol blending program as a historic initiative for India’s energy future and increasing the income of farmers. The PM said that because of this initiative the country is becoming self-reliant and is also helping in environmental protection.

Ethanol saved Indian money from going abroad

PM Modi further said that the hard work of farmers has given great relief to the country in times of crisis. He said that if ethanol was not blended in petrol, then Rs 1.50 lakh crore of the country would have gone abroad. He said that due to ethanol, not only the country but also the farmers have benefited. The farmers of the country have received this money.

Such is the journey of ethanol blending program

PM Modi said that till a decade ago the blending of ethanol in the country was only 1 percent but now this blending has become 20 percent. This change is only the result of government schemes and full participation of farmers. This is a matter of pride for India. The rural economy is getting a boost from the ethanol blending program. This is opening up new opportunities for farmers also.

PM Modi described ethanol as green fuel

The Prime Minister described ethanol as safe energy i.e. green fuel. He said that these are environment friendly and help in reducing carbon emissions. He has described the ethanol blending program as necessary for the sustainable development of the country. He made it clear that ethanol blending is not just a policy, but a strong basis for moving towards self-reliant India and self-reliant farmers.

The condition of sugarcane farmers has improved – PM Modi

PM Modi further said that the sugarcane farmers here have seen the earlier days also. There was a time when sugarcane payments remained outstanding for years. Today, due to the efforts of the double engine government of BJP, the condition of sugarcane farmers has improved.
