PM Modi played football with youth in Gangtok, see special pictures of Sikkim tour
PM Modi Sikkim Visit: PM Narendra Modi has reached Sikkim on a two-day visit. On Tuesday he will attend the closing ceremony of the 50th Foundation Day of the state. Earlier, he attracted everyone’s attention by playing football with the youth early in the morning in the capital Gangtok.

Sharing this experience on social media, the Prime Minister wrote that this morning in Gangtok was very special and playing football with the youth of Sikkim was a memorable experience. He also said that it was a great session of sports with these youngsters.

Road show was done in Gangtok
Prime Minister Modi reached Gangtok on Monday evening, where he also held a road show. His convoy proceeded from the helipad to Lok Bhawan, and a large number of people were present on the roadside to get a glimpse of him.

During his visit on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi will also visit the Orchidarium in Gangtok. Apart from this, he will also inspect the “Golden Jubilee Friendship Manjari Park”, which has been developed to showcase the biodiversity and floral heritage of Sikkim.
Didn’t reach last year due to bad weather
After this he will attend the main function organized at Paljor Stadium, where the closing ceremony of completion of 50 years of Sikkim State will be held. On this occasion, he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 4,000 crore.

It is noteworthy that Narendra Modi was to attend the Golden Jubilee program of Sikkim organized last year, but he could not reach due to bad weather. Then he addressed the program through video conferencing.
