PM Modi talks a lot about AI, but actually he is afraid of it: Supriya Shrinet
New Delhi. Congress leader Supriya Shrinet held a press conference at the AICC office on Thursday. During this, he said, Narendra Modi talks a lot about AI, but in reality he trembles with Artificial Intelligence. Let me put some facts before you, which will turn milk into milk and water into water. In the last 6 weeks, 9 videos made by Congress’s AI have been deleted by the Prime Minister of this country, Narendra Modi, his central and BJP ruled state governments. Let me make it clear – all these videos were made under the law, which had AI disclaimers. AI GENERATED was written throughout the duration of all videos – which shows that we did not try to mislead anyone. But BJP and Prime Minister Modi himself are so afraid of the truth that they are even afraid of the ‘theatrical adaptation’ of the truth.

Supriya Shrinet further said, Congress has shown in its AI video – how cowardly Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned away from responsibility by saying to General Naravane and the Army – ‘Do whatever you think is right’. How Narendra Modi made a trade deal with America, ignoring the national interest? How Narendra Modi, on the advice of Epstein, started pleasing America’s President Trump? How did Narendra Modi stop buying oil from Russia at the behest of America? How did Narendra Modi benefit the farmers of America and sacrifice the rights of the farmers of India? How did Narendra Modi, frustrated by the tightening legal noose in America on Adani, surrender to Trump? How Narendra Modi ran away from the House, scared of 3 women MPs? None of these things are imaginary or wrong. These are all the same issues on which the opposition and the entire country are asking questions, which are echoing in the Parliament of India.
He further said, know how AI videos are being deleted – Orders to delete AI videos were sent to social media platforms by the police of BJP ruled state governments – Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra. The order to delete some AI videos has come directly from the ministry of Reel Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. This is the same Ashwini Vaishnav who is the organizer of the AI Summit, but is busy getting AI videos deleted on a large scale. Most of these video deletion and blocking orders cite Section 69(A) and Section 79(3)(B) of the IT Act, 2000. Section 69(A) gives the government the right to block and delete any content from anywhere without hearing. Section 79(3)(B) exempts social media companies and platforms from legal liability for posted content if they remove it on government orders. The orders cite violation of Section 353 (2023) and Section 356 (2023) of the Indian Judicial Code, which deal with criminal defamation, creating fear among the public or inciting hatred between groups. The question is – What is wrong in the videos which were removed and between whom is it creating animosity?
Supriya Shrinet further said, Modi government is bringing a censorship portal named ‘Sahyog’, which will worsen the situation. Some government officials will be involved in this portal. This portal will empower these officers to issue orders to remove any content/data and the social media platform will have to remove that content. This means that now the government officials will decide what the country will be able to watch online and what not!
