New Delhi: In the 116th episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the growing concern of “digital arrest” scams, particularly targeting the elderly.
PM Modi emphasized that there is no such provision as a digital arrest in the government, labeling these claims as blatant lies and conspiracies designed to deceive and trap innocent people.
“I had discussed Digital Arrest in the last episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The elderly are the most common victims of such crimes. We have to explain to people again and again that there is no provision of digital arrest in the government; this is a blatant lie, a conspiracy to trap people,” PM Modi stated during his address.
