Larsen and Toubro 1,189 Built at a cost of Rs crore’Seva Teerth Complex’
The entire Seva Teerth complex (also known as Executive Enclave) is being built by Larsen & Toubro at a cost of Rs 1,189 crore. It is spread over 2,26,203 square feet. A new official residence for the Prime Minister, currently named ‘Executive Enclave Part 2’, is also being built nearby. This change is in line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of eradicating the colonial legacy. His government had earlier renamed New Delhi’s famous Rajpath as Dutva Path.
As part of major efforts to modernize the central government’s workspace and improve efficiency in administration and governance, new Common Central Secretariat (CCS) buildings are being constructed to bring together ministries that were till now spread out in different parts of the national capital. One such building, Dutva Bhawan, was inaugurated in August last year and already houses several ministries.
