PM Modi will inaugurate Rashtra Prerna Sthal on Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jayanti, Lucknow will get a historic gift.
The country is going to get a big gift on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On December 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grandly inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal built in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, PM Modi will also address the public meeting. This place is not only a tribute to Atal ji, but will also become a center of inspiration for the coming generations.
Grand National Inspiration Site built at a cost of Rs 230 crore
Rashtra Prerna Sthal has been developed over an area of about 65 acres at a cost of approximately Rs 230 crore. This complex is a unique confluence of modernity and Indian culture. A grand environment has been created here reflecting the nationalistic ideology of the country, which will teach the youth about leadership and service to the nation.
65 feet tall bronze statues of three great leaders
The biggest feature of this complex is the 65 feet high bronze statues, which are dedicated to three great leaders of the country –
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. These statues are not only a wonderful example of architecture, but also reflect their contribution to Indian politics and nation building.
Lotus shaped hi-tech museum will become an attraction
The lotus-shaped state-of-the-art museum built at Rashtra Prerna Sthal will be a special attraction for the people. In this museum, India’s journey from independence to modern era will be shown through digital and immersive technology. Besides, the contributions of the great leaders of the country have been presented in an interesting manner, so that the young generation can connect with history.

Good Governance Day and Atal ji’s legacy
It is noteworthy that in 2014, Modi government had announced to celebrate Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday on 25th December as Good Governance Day. Atal ji was awarded Bharat Ratna and died in 2018. His life has been a symbol of simplicity, good governance and national service.
Rashtra Prerna Sthal will become a powerful medium to carry forward these ideals.
