PM Modi wrote a special letter to women, said- the form of Parliament will change from 2029
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a special letter to the women of the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. In this, he reiterated his resolve to implement the Nari Shakti Vandan Act (Women’s Reservation Bill) as soon as possible and stressed on ensuring reservation for women before the 2029 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
PM Modi wrote in the letter, “Our mothers, sisters and daughters across the country are appreciating the decision to ensure women’s reservation from the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections of 2029.” He said that he is sharing his feelings with the countrymen to realize this important resolution that has been pending for decades.
Emotional message on Ambedkar Jayanti
On the occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on April 14, PM Modi wrote that this day is a very important day in the history of India. Paying humble tribute to Dr. Ambedkar, he said that his unwavering commitment towards constitutional values is inspiring for all of us even today.
The PM further said, “Following the path of equality and inclusive spirit which the Constitution has shown us, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act is going to be discussed in the Parliament from September 18.” He sought the blessings of crores of mothers and sisters of the country to pass this constitutional amendment in the upcoming session of Parliament.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the entire House will together pass this historic constitutional amendment and ensure strong participation of the country’s women power in the legislative institutions. He said, “I see that there is an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm everywhere regarding this. Mothers and sisters across the country are expressing happiness that they are going to get an opportunity to contribute more strongly in building a developed India and in determining the policies of the country.”

Praising the achievements of women, PM Modi said that our women power is leaving its indelible mark in the development of the country. They are participating enthusiastically in every field. In the 21st century, the number and achievements of women are continuously increasing in fields like science, innovation, startups, education, literature, art, music, cinema, dance and heritage. Women are successfully leading many startup companies, which is inspiring.
This letter underlines the Prime Minister’s commitment towards women power by linking the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar with the empowerment of women.
