PM Modi’s big attack on opposition in Assam rally: ‘BJP’s hat-trick decided, royal family will score a century of defeat’

Burpeta. While addressing a huge election rally held in Barpeta, Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition. He said that this time the people of Assam are going to take two big decisions – first, the hat-trick of BJP-NDA government in the state and second, the “royal family” sitting in Delhi will complete its century of defeat.

Targeted at Congress-
Attacking the Indian National Congress, the Prime Minister said that Congress never works with the thinking of long-term development. He alleged that Congress promotes corruption through short-term politics, while BJP is taking the country forward with a long-term vision.

He said that in the last 10 years, special attention has been given to establishing peace and stability in Assam and in the coming times, further impetus will be given to the development of the state.

Appeal on Women’s Reservation Bill-
The Prime Minister appealed for united support from all political parties regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. He said that the government is calling a special session of Parliament from April 16 and efforts are being made to pass this important bill unanimously.

He said that some people are trying to spread confusion on this issue, but this law is in the interest of the entire country, especially women. He clarified that representation in the states of North-East and South India will not be reduced, rather additional seats are being arranged for women.

Special appeal to women-
PM Modi appealed to the women of Assam and said that they should put pressure on the leaders of all parties to pass this bill, so that women can get their rights.

Congratulations to BJP workers-
On this occasion, the Prime Minister congratulated the workers of Bharatiya Janata Party on its foundation day. He said that with the resolve of “Nation First” the party is engaged in serving the country and is moving rapidly towards the goal of self-reliant India.

Referring to the huge crowd gathered at the rally, he said that the turnout in Barpeta has created new records, which shows the trust and support of the public.
