PM Modi’s direct message to Revanth Reddy, says ‘Joining me will be beneficial for you’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth more than Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad on Sunday (10 May 2026). During the program, he made such a statement regarding Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy which became a topic of discussion in political circles.

PM Modi’s direct message to Revanth Reddy

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi told from the stage that Revanth Reddy had asked him not to talk politically, hence he too will not do so. But the non-political thing is that the Center is ready to give as much to Telangana as it has given to Gujarat in the last 10 years.

After this he added smilingly that if this is done then what CM Revanth Reddy is getting now will be halved. You won’t be able to get where you want to go. Therefore it is better that you connect with me only.

Revanth Reddy laid out the vision of Telangana model

Earlier, CM Revanth Reddy had said that when Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister and Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, then Modi created the Gujarat model in 10 years. Now the people of Telangana also have similar expectations from him.

Reddy said that the Telangana model will be ready in the next 10 years and the state will become a $1 trillion economy by 2034. He said that the share of Telangana in the country’s population is less than 3 percent. Yet the state aims to contribute 10 percent of GDP to PM Modi’s dream of a $30 trillion Indian economy.

PM’s advice on West Asia crisis

Amidst increasing tension in West Asia, PM Modi emphasized on energy saving. He said that petroleum products should be used very sparingly. Imported petroleum products should be used only as per requirement. This will save foreign exchange and also reduce the impact of war.

Mention of India’s strength in energy sector

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has become one of the leading countries in solar energy in the last few years. Ethanol blending in petrol has been increased rapidly. The government was earlier working on 100 percent LPG coverage, now the focus is on cheaper piped gas and CNG network. Because of these steps, India is able to face the global energy crisis strongly.

Gave assurance to the people of Telangana

PM Modi said that the country is also creating modern infrastructure along with reforms. He assured every family of Telangana that the Central Government will work at a faster pace to fulfill their dreams. He also appealed to the people to use petrol, diesel and gas carefully.

This statement of Modi has come at a time when Congress is in power in Telangana and BJP is in power at the Centre, despite political differences, both the leaders shared a platform on the issue of development, but the PM’s sarcasm made it clear that politics was not completely missing.
