PM Modi’s strong message on the first anniversary of Pahalgam terrorist attack, reiterated India’s steadfast policy against terrorism
Tezzbuzz Desk- On the first anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the country’s steadfast policy against terrorism while paying tribute to the victims. He clearly said that the killing of innocent civilians can never be forgotten and India is not going to bow down to any form of terrorism.
The Prime Minister said in his message that this is a day not only of mourning but also of determination. He stressed that the country is united in this difficult time and the designs of terrorists will never succeed. Expressing his condolences to the victims’ families, he also assured of providing justice.
It is noteworthy that on April 22, 2025, terrorists had opened indiscriminate firing targeting tourists in Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, in which 26 people lost their lives. This heart-wrenching incident that took place amidst the beautiful valleys shocked the entire country. That day the peace of the valley was shaken by the sounds of screams and bullets.
After this attack, there was deep anger across the country. Protests took place in many cities and people demanded strict action against terrorism. This incident not only raised questions on the security system but also shook the collective conscience of the country.
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the attack, security arrangements have been extremely tightened in the valley. Additional security forces have been deployed in sensitive areas and tourist places. Intelligence agencies have been put on alert, while intensive search operations are being conducted in the surrounding forests, so that any possible danger can be averted in time.
After the attack, India took a tough stand against terrorism and targeted terrorist hideouts across the border. This action made it clear that the country is ready to take every possible step to protect its security and citizens.
The anniversary of the Pahalgam attack once again reminds us of that painful day, but at the same time it has also become a symbol of the country’s unwavering courage, unity and determination against terrorism.
