PM Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress, said- Congress government’s rule is full of corruption and crime.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday targeted the Congress, saying that it has created a speedbreaker in the development of Puducherry. The many years of Congress rule have been full of corruption, crime and suffering of the poor. Along with this, he also said that the double engine NDA government will give further impetus to the development of Puducherry. The Prime Minister said that the people of Puducherry had to face a lot of difficulties during the earlier Congress-DMK rule. Those years were full of political instability, allegations of corruption, increasing crime and neglect of the poor.

PM Narendra Modi said that when I came here earlier, I had given the mantra of Best Puducherry. BEST means business, education, spirituality and tourism. This vision is bearing fruit in the last four and a half years. There has been good governance and development in Puducherry. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 27 thousand crore aimed at strengthening infrastructure, urban services, industrial development, education, healthcare and sustainable growth in Puducherry. The PM said that these projects will change the lives of the people of Puducherry. Glad to be among the wonderful people of Puducherry. Today many development works are being started which will make life easier and promote economic growth of the area. PM highlighted the launch of e-buses under the e-bus service initiative, Integrated Command and Control Center under the Smart City Mission, houses for economically weaker sections under the City Investments to Innovate, Integrate and Sustain (CITIIS) initiative and important projects in the sewerage and water supply sector of the Puducherry government. He inaugurated the Composite Engineering Block- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Block and Ganga Hostel of the National Institute of Technology at Karaikal. Apart from this he inaugurated the modernization project.
