In the pictures, PM Modi was seen playing football with the players, scoring and celebrating a goal. His style is not being limited to sports only, but is also being linked to the politics of West Bengal. Actually, football is a very popular game in Sikkim as well as in West Bengal. Especially Kolkata is considered a big center of club football in India. The presence of football clubs in every village shows the passion of the people for this game. During big tournaments like the Football World Cup, even the traffic on the roads slows down.

In such a situation, PM Modi’s entry into the football field immediately after the end of the election campaign and sharing his pictures is also being seen as a political signal. It is believed that this could be a strategic attempt to connect with the youth and sports lovers of Bengal. On Monday, the first day of his Sikkim tour, PM Modi also held a mega road show in Gangtok, where a huge crowd gathered to get a glimpse of him. People were seen standing on both sides of the road. The Prime Minister will also attend the program organized to mark 51 years of Sikkim’s merger with India. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development schemes worth about Rs 4 thousand crores.
