Kartavya Bhawan: Along with this, the Prime Minister has also inaugurated Kartavya Bhawan-1 and 2, where many important ministries like Defence, Finance and Health will shift.2. Why was the date of 13th February chosen? Today’s date has been chosen very thoughtfully. On 13 February 1931, the British officially declared New Delhi the capital of India. Exactly 95 years later, on the same date, PM Modi, disillusioned with the buildings of the British era, has inaugurated the new center of ‘Self-reliant India’.3. 5 Hi-Tech Features of ‘Seva Tirtha’ This new campus is not just an office but a ‘Smart Campus’ built keeping in mind the future needs: 4-Star GRIHA Rating: It is completely eco-friendly, with special arrangements for solar energy and water conservation. Digital Integration: The office is completely based on paperless functioning (e-Office). Security Chakra: It has ‘Smart Access Control’ and modern security framework installed in it. Public Interface: An accessible and organized ‘reception area’ has been created for the common citizens. Rs 100 Coin: To commemorate this historic occasion, the PM has also released a commemorative coin of Rs 100.4. What will happen to the old ‘South Block’? South and North Block, which have been the centers of Indian power for decades, will now be vacated and converted into ‘Yuge Yugeen Bharat’ National Museum. This will be the world’s largest museum, which will showcase India’s 5000 years of history.
