Mumbai. Comedian poet Surendra Sharma has said some things about comedian Kapil Sharma. He said that his rift with the comedian was due to differences over remuneration. Along with this, he has also shared his opinion regarding Kapil's show.

Said this on the rift with Kapil Sharma

In an interview given to the media, Surendra Sharma said that there is no reason for rift. He has done many shows with me, when he was not popular. Kapil Sharma needs some people to make him laugh. I don't need it. He even invited me to his show, but I did not go. I told them that they are earning so much that I want remuneration also. He told me that coming to his show would increase my popularity. I refused to do so. The producers had contacted me but I did not go.

Taunted on Kapil Sharma's comedy

He said that I do not say that Kapil Sharma does not know comedy. They need 3-4 people to make everyone laugh. They don't know what comedy is? Don't they know what they are saying?

Surendra Sharma spoke about his fees

Surendra Sharma said that Kumar Vishwas charges Rs 25-30 lakh for three poetry conferences. I charge less money than them. I have been asked many times why I charge less. On this I say that there was a time when I used to take more money than Gopal Das Neeraj. Shailesh Lodha charges Rs 12-13 lakh for a show.
