Accumulation of dead bodies in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Pak Army opened fire on unarmed people; 53 people died

PoK Protest: Once again heart-wrenching pictures of massacre by Pakistani Army have emerged from Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). According to reports, in the morning when 60,000 to 70,000 protesters were sitting at the Eidgah ground in Rawalakot, the Pakistani Army and Rangers opened indiscriminate fire on the unarmed protesters without any warning.

After the firing, blood was visible everywhere from fields to roads. Sixteen people have been confirmed dead today, and more than 37 injured as Pakistani Army and Rangers opened fire on unarmed protesters with AK-47 rifles. So far 53 civilians have lost their lives in this massacre that has been going on since Friday.

After the shooting incident, there was anger among the people in Khai Gala village of Rawalakot. Local villagers closed the market and took out a march along with women and children to protest against the Pakistani army. Thousands of people together raised slogans, “This terrorism is being done by the Pakistani Army.” Even after the firing, the protesters did not seem ready to retreat, and a large number of protesters from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are standing at the Idgah Ground in Rawalakot and have announced to continue the protest.

Announcement to continue the struggle

Sardar Aman Khan, one of the main organizers of the movement, spoke to protesters after the firing, and vowed to take the struggle to a turning point. He warned that the movement will not stop at any cost, and if the protesters are attacked again, not a single attacker will back down. Troubled by inflation, the people of PoK are on the streets since Tuesday demanding cheap flour, rice, electricity and abolition of 12 vacant seats and every day the Pakistani Army is firing on common unarmed people.
