Police announced a reward of Rs 25,000 each on the main accused in the Kanpur kidney case.

Kanpur. Police has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 each on three absconding accused in the illegal kidney transplant case under Rawatpur police station area in Kanpur. And the police is moving towards arresting them as soon as possible.

Deputy Commissioner of Police West SM Qasim Abidi told the press that till now a total of nine accused have been arrested by the police in the case related to illegal kidney buying and selling in private hospitals in Rawatpur police station area. A reward of Rs 25,000 each has been announced on the three main accused in this case, Rohit, Afzal and Mudassar Ali.

Deputy Commissioner of Police West SM Qasim Abidi said that our team is continuously working for his arrest. And his arrest will be ensured soon. He said that apart from this, some important inputs have also been received, on the basis of which the police teams are taking continuous action.

So far, a total of nine people, including several doctors from renowned private hospitals of the city, have been arrested in this case and two private hospitals have been sealed. They were running a transplant scam by illegally purchasing kidneys from helpless people at cheap rates and selling them at ten times the price, which was caught.
