As part of the preparations to conduct the upcoming UPTET-2026 examination in a peaceful, fair and cheating-free environment, the Police Commissioner and the District Magistrate conducted a joint inspection of various examination centers in the city. During the inspection, he took a thorough review of the security arrangements, monitoring of CCTV cameras, entry and identity verification of the candidates, drinking water, electricity, toilets and other basic facilities.
During the inspection, the officials checked the functionality of the CCTV cameras installed at each examination center and directed to ensure that all the cameras remain operational continuously during the examination. Also, special emphasis was laid on completing the intensive checking of identity cards and admit cards of the candidates at the entry gate, biometric or other verification processes as per the guidelines of the Commission.
While reviewing the security arrangements, the Police Commissioner directed the concerned police officers to deploy adequate police force around the examination centres, strictly monitor suspicious activities and maintain smooth traffic arrangements. He said that there will be no compromise with the integrity of the examination and strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules.
The District Magistrate directed the Central Administrators, Sector Magistrates and Static Magistrates to ensure 100 percent compliance of all the guidelines issued by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission.
