Police failure is being discussed, theft incidents are captured in CCTV cameras, yet results are missing.

In this case also the police has not been able to give any concrete results till now. Neither the thieves were caught, nor the goods were recovered. Now it cannot be said with certainty that the cases being captured on CCTV will necessarily be exposed.

The biggest question in both these cases is that when the thieves are caught on CCTV, video evidence is available, still why the police did not reach any conclusion. Local people say that if the police remains so inactive even in small thefts, then how can we trust the revelations of big crimes? People are asking whether Basti Police does not have the technical capability to view and analyze CCTV footage? Has the patrolling and intelligence system completely failed? Or is there so much laziness in the police department that despite having evidence, action is not being taken?
