Police shares update on Nancy Guthrie missing case
Police officials have shared an update on the missing case of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Savannah Guthrie.
The American journalist’s mother was last seen in Arizona near her home on January 31 and was reported missing on February 1.
As of now, officials are still carrying out search mission and are suspecting the possibility of a kidnapping.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has dismissed the report of a masked man being spotted at the house at an earlier date.
He told People “There is no evidence to support that… and there is no evidence to support it was all on the same day.”
“It is speculative at best and remains part of an ongoing investigation.”
Previously, FBI also placed a $50,000 reward in exchange for information that leads to her safe return or the lead to anyone involved in her disappearance.
The officials have also ruled out the family members of Nancy as suspects.
US President Donald Trump also talked to Savannah personally over a phone call and reassured her that the authorities will do everything to find her mother.
