Police took strict action against those selling Chinese Manjha in Ujjain, organized a sit-in meeting

Police has taken strict action against the illegal trade of deadly Chinese Manjha in Ujjain. Neelganga police station caught 5 accused who were selling nylon manjha illegally on Shivansh Elegance Society road. The method of action was different and taught a lesson, the police took out a procession of the accused and held them by the ears and made them do sit-ups in public.

This action was taken not only to ensure compliance with the law but also to give a message of safety to the general public. The police gave information on the spot about the accident caused by the Chinese boat and the damage caused to the birds, making it clear that this was not just an arrest but also a warning.

Strictness and method of action of Ujjain Police

Police had received information that some youths were doing illegal business of banned Chinese Manjha on the road leading to Shivansh Elegance Society. As soon as the information was received, two teams were formed on the instructions of SP Pradeep Sharma and the accused were caught on the spot.

In the first action, Manish Kukreja, Harsh Barod and a minor were caught. A total of 24 packets of Chinese Manjha, whose estimated value was around Rs 14,400, were seized from them. The second team arrested Pratap Singh Tomar and Nikhil. 23 packets of Chinese Manjha were seized from them, the value of which was said to be around Rs 13,800.

After the arrest, the police took out a procession of the accused and made them do sit-ups in public by holding their ears. Through this action, the police gave a message to the common people that getting involved in the illegal business of Chinese Manjha is a serious crime.

Why is Chinese Manjha dangerous?

Chinese Manjha is not only a threat to human life but is also extremely harmful to birds and other animals. Its sharp and sharp wires cause many accidents. Flying birds can get injured or die by getting entangled in this tangle. Serious injuries can occur if they come into the hands of children and youth. Legal action and case under BNS

A case was registered against the accused under section 223(B) BNS. This action was taken for violating the restrictive order of Collector Ujjain. Police station in-charge Tarun Kuril and his team played a commendable role in this action. The police appealed to the general public to immediately inform the police station about the sale or use of any Chinese manjha. This action was not only to teach a lesson to the criminals but also to warn the entire community and ensure safety.
