Kolkata. Political turmoil has intensified regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections. Trinamool Congress chief and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has released the list of party candidates for 291 seats. Announcing the names of the candidates from his residence in Kalighat, Kolkata, he expressed confidence that the party will continue the winning streak this time too.
Balance of experience and new faces-
Announcing the candidates, Mamata Banerjee said that this time the party has tried to strike a balance between experienced leaders and new faces. Many sitting MLAs have been given a second chance, while new candidates have been fielded on some seats.
The special thing is that Mamata Banerjee herself will once again contest from Bhawanipur seat.
Bhawanipur becomes high-voltage competition-
Bhawanipur seat is considered very important this time. Here Mamata Banerjee is likely to face BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari.

Now this time BJP has made the contest more interesting by fielding Suvendu from Bhawanipur also. In such a situation, it will be important to see whether Suvendu will be able to challenge Mamata even in her stronghold or this bet will be heavy on BJP.
