Politics News- Mamta didi is afraid of taking the name of Ram, Yogi taunts TMC
Friends, the atmosphere is heated regarding the assembly elections in West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) are trying their best to win, while BJP is expressing full confidence about its victory, the ruling TMC led by Mamata Banerjee is also fully prepared to remain in power, due to which the contest has become very tough, in such a situation Yogi Adityanath has also entered the election campaign, West Medinipur. Addressing a rally in Garhbeta, he launched a scathing attack on the TMC government.
Yogi Adityanath emphasized that Bengal was once a major engine of India’s economic progress, and contributed about one-third of the country’s GDP. He expressed concern over the decline in governance of the current government, and said the state has lost its old identity.
During his speech, Yogi accused the TMC government of curbing cultural and religious expressions, and specifically mentioned slogans like “Jai Shri Ram”. He also alleged that different religious events are treated differently, and compared it to the system in Uttar Pradesh.
Referring to the changes in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath claimed that law and order has improved in the state in the last few years.
Reiterating the BJP’s main election slogan, Yogi said a “double-engine” government—that is, a government in which the same party rules both the state and the Centre—will accelerate the pace of development in West Bengal.
With leaders from both sides campaigning vigorously and making tall claims, the election contest in West Bengal is becoming even tougher.
