‘Had to spread legs for scenes’, many films were rejected due to tall height, Pooja Batra said – Salman Khan supported

Pooja Batra Reveals Height Struggles: As much as the world of Bollywood looks adorned with glamor and stardom from outside, there are many struggles and difficulties hidden behind it. Now meanwhile, actress Pooja Batra has made a big revelation while remembering the early days of her career. Recently he told in an interview how his height had become a big problem for him.

Pooja Batra revealed in an interview that she was thrown out of films many times in the Bollywood industry just because some heroes felt uncomfortable with her on screen. Due to which in many scenes he had to spread his legs to make himself look smaller so that his height could match with the hero.

‘Had to spread legs for the scene’

He said, ‘During close-up shots, many times I had to pose like a half split (with legs spread) so that the hero in front could look taller.’ According to him, at that time there was a different kind of thinking in the industry regarding tall actresses and due to this many times there were difficulties during casting.

Pooja Batra also told that in the early days of her career, she was made to realize that her height would create problems in Bollywood. He said, ‘Sangita Bijlani told me that your chances in the movie are difficult because you are very tall.’ Pooja told that she considered Sangeeta Bijlani as her idol, hence the things told by her remained in her mind for a long time.

Many films came out of hand

Pooja further said, she tried to give her best in every role, yet she missed many good opportunities. He said, the truth is that I did not get many films because of my height. I lost very good roles.

Pooja Batra told that during the shooting of the film ‘Virasat’, she had to wear such clothes, which made her height look less than that of the hero. Many times directors used to ask her to wear her own dresses because they suited her body frame better.

At the same time, she laughingly shared an incident that she was not allowed to wear makeup. On this she said at least let us apply sunblock. After these revelations of Pooja, people are also discussing on social media about the old thinking of the industry.

Salman Khan supported

Pooja in the interview with Salman Khan (Salman KhanPraising ) he said that during that period Salman Khan never became uncomfortable with him. According to him, he found Salman Khan’s attitude quite different. Pooja Batra told that Salman was one of those few actors who never had any problem with his height. Both of them worked together in the film ‘Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye’.

He further said about Salman, ‘Salman has never been uncomfortable. He always used to say, you wear heels, I have no problem. Pooja told that Salman was very confident about his personality and he never made her height an issue.

However, on this issue the actress admitted that now a lot has changed in the Bollywood industry. Now there has been a change in people’s thinking about tall actresses and camera technology has also become quite advanced.
