Chen was seen in his videos asking for durian that is on the bitter side, sharing that it is tasty. He also encouraged his parents to try popular local snacks such as apam balik, oyster omelette and soya bean milk.
Musang King, a renowned durian variety from Malaysia, was rated one of the 25 best fruits in Southeast Asia this year by readers of international food magazine TasteAtlas.
Musang King durians are primarily cultivated in Malaysia, especially in the state of Pahang, and are widely regarded for their premium quality.
The fruit is commonly used in a range of desserts, including ice cream, cakes and pastries, reflecting its rich flavor and creamy texture.
