The poster of the epic saga of Indian cultural history 'Adi Shankaracharya' has been released. This series is presented by 'Art of Living'. It is produced by Sri Sri Publication Trust and ONM Multimedia. The writer and director of this grand series is Omkar Nath Mishra. The series has grandly depicted the life and works of our nation's greatest hero Sri Adi Shankaracharya, who secured the borders of India in all four directions while working on the reconstruction of the nation. The first season of the series has a total of 10 episodes, in which the audience will be able to see the major events from the birth of child Sri Shankar to sanyaas.
Writer-director Omkar Nath Mishra has filmed this story with many established actors from television and films. Arnab Khanijo is playing the character of child Adi Shankaracharya in the series. Big and established actors from television and films like Suman Gupta, who played the character of Devki in Sony TV's show Yashomati Maiya, and Gagan Malik, Sandeep Mohan, Yogesh Mahajan, Kunal Singh Rajput and Arun Shekhar, who played the character of Ram in Zee TV's show Ramayan, will be seen in this series. Manish Wadhwa, who played the main villain in the film Gadar 2, will also be seen in a major role in it, but the audience will be able to see his character in the second season of this series.
Writer-director of the web series 'Adi Shankaracharya', Omkar Nath Mishra, says, 'Today the world is again grappling with many problems like religious fanaticism, terrorism, communalism, casteism, separatism, opportunism, deceit, fraud, deception, distrust and Shri Shankar's Advaita philosophy is the only answer to all these problems. The eighth century was an era of great darkness and decline for India at the social, political and spiritual level. Seeing such a state of his nation's religion and culture, eight-year-old Shankar set out for the social, political and spiritual upliftment of the nation. The series has been shot in the picturesque locations of Bangalore and Kerala as well as in the studios of Mumbai. The first season of the 'Adi Shankaracharya' web series will be released on OTT soon.
