- 4 to 5 medium sized boiled potatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella or processed cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 finely chopped onion (optional)
- 1 to 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon oregano or mixed herbs
- Finely chopped coriander
- Salt to taste

First peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well. Add onion, green chillies, coriander, salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, herbs and some breadcrumbs and mix well. Now make small balls of this mixture. Place a piece of cheese in the center of each ball and seal well on all sides.
Combine cornflour and water in a bowl to make a thin mixture. Dip the prepared balls first in the cornflour mixture and then in the breadcrumbs. Repeat this process twice if you want a crispier texture. After that, heat oil in a pan and fry these balls on medium flame till golden color.
