Mumbai: Samsung India’s largest consumer electronics brand today launched the new Galaxy A series smartphones Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. The Galaxy A series is designed for young users who prioritize photography, functionality, AI-enabled everyday features and durability. Coming in at 6.9mm thick with an aluminum frame, the Galaxy A57 5G is the slimmest A series device. Its slim bezels provide a more balanced and superior viewing experience.
The Galaxy A57 5G features a 120Hz refresh rate, Vision Booster and 1900 nits of brightness, which provides a clear view even outdoors. Both the A57 5G and A37 5G have strong protection with Gorilla Glass Victus+ (front and back) and IP68 rating. Also, these devices get six Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security.
The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G feature a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and a 1.0 µm (micron) large pixel sensor, as well as improved Image Signal Processing (ISP) and Low Noise Mode. This ensures the capture of clearly attractive photos even in low light.

The Galaxy A57 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The Galaxy A37 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Both the devices have a 12-megapixel HDR front camera for stunning selfies and video calls.
Galaxy A57 5G features Exynos 1680 (33 percent more NPU) and A37 5G has Exynos 1480 (162 percent improved NPU). Both come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for fast performance. The A57 5G features a 13% larger vapor cooling chamber, keeping temperatures under control during gaming and heavy usage.
Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G have a 5000 mAh battery, which can last for almost 2 days. With 45 Watt charging support, the battery in these new devices can be charged up to 60 percent in 30 minutes.
The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G run on One UI 8.5, with AI tools like Samsung Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity to make everyday tasks easier. Multi-object recognition with circle to search makes it easy to find objects on the screen.
Direct Voicemail saves voice messages directly to the device. Voice Transcription is a feature that converts audio to text for easy viewing of meeting or call information, while Real-Time Call Transcription converts voice to text on screen during a call.
The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G come with Samsung Knox Vault, which stores data in dedicated tamper-resistant hardware and monitors for hardware-level attacks. These devices also have software-level protection, which alerts users in the event of a data breach.

The Galaxy A57 5G is available in two variants. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 56,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 62,499.
Also, the Galaxy A37 5G is available in three variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 41,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 47,499, while the top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 52,999.
