Raja Saab Box Office Collection: The second week of January 2026 has been full of ups and downs for the box office. On one hand, while Pan-India superstar Prabhas’ film ‘The Raja Saab’ has hit the theatres, on the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ is trying to maintain its hold even after several weeks of its release. However, the box office of these two films seems to be at different junctures.

Sluggish after explosive start

Prabhas starrer horror-comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’ had a very aggressive debut in theaters on 9 January 2026. The film made a spectacular net collection of around ₹ 53.75 crore in India on its first day, of which the Telugu market had the largest share. By the first weekend, the film had crossed the figure of approximately ₹114 crore. But since Monday, there has been a big ‘free fall’ in the film’s earnings. On Monday, the film’s collection dropped to just ₹6.6 crore and on Tuesday it further dropped to around ₹4.85 crore.

According to the initial trends of the sixth day i.e. Wednesday, the film now seems to be earning less than Rs 1 crore. Till now the total Indian net collection of this film has crossed ₹ 120.43 crore and the worldwide gross collection has crossed ₹ 175 crore. Despite Prabhas’s stardom, the film is getting mixed reviews and the lack of innovation in the story is becoming a hindrance in its long term survival.
