Prateik Smita Patil shows middle finger to paps while riding Rs 22 lakh Harley-Davidson in Mumbai; fans irked

Bollywood celebs’ love for automobiles, especially high-end bikes, is unending. The actors often go on drives or ride their bikes on Mumbai roads during peak hours. With the growing paparazzi culture in Mumbai, almost every spot seems to have photographers, especially at Lodhivali, Oshiwara, Andheri, Bandra, and the airport. Most of the time, the celebs’ PR teams only give tips to the media and paps on how to capture them.

Recently, we saw how cricketer Hardik Pandya flaunts his new black Ferrari and takes his girlfriend out on drives. Two days back, he was spotted on the Coastal Road enjoying a ride in his new car.

And now, on Tuesday, paps captured Prateik Babbar enjoying a bike ride in the Andheri area.

The actor was on his new Harley-Davidson, which he purchased on Monday. The official Instagram handle of Harley-Davidson also shared a video of Prateik with his bike. The reel shows Prateik getting overwhelmed and emotional, seeing his dream come true.

His customised Harley-Davidson Sportster S costs around Rs 22 lakh, while the additional amount spent on its customisation is not known.

A viral video shows Prateik in full bike gear helmet, gloves, riding his bike while paps filmed him. The actor flashed his middle finger at photographers.

Even when he noticed the paps recording him, he made that gesture.

Later, after stopping, he was seen heading to a café. As the video went viral, netizens slammed the actor.

One of them wrote, “Isliye never achieved success like my father did.”

Another wrote, running his mom’s name… The third one mentioned, “Very rude and disgusting attitude.”

This isn’t the first time Prateik has grabbed headlines for his behaviour.

Prateik had not invited his father, Raj Babbar, to his wedding. In a recent interview with Miss Malini, Prateik and his wife Priya were asked about their wedding controversy. To this, Prateik suggested that there might be more to the story.

“People don’t know the truth. Some people from the industry know the truth, some don’t, and the general public…,” Prateik told Miss Malini, adding, “But one day, everyone will get to learn the truth. In a story, or a book, or an interview, or a film.”

Priya said that the experience made them stronger as a team and shared, “I think life has thrown a lot of tests right before we got married, just to see if we would last, and we are like ninjas. I think every problem that has come our way, we have not reacted like ‘Ab kya hoga?’. We looked at each other, and we got each other.”

Last year, Prateik officially dropped his father Raj Babbar’s surname and adopted his late mother Smita Patil’s name instead. In an interview with Filmfare, Prateik Smita Patil justified his decision, saying, “Yes, absolutely. Prateik Smita Patil is a powerful name, and Smita Patil has a powerful legacy.”
