Attempt to kill Ashutosh Brahmachari, who filed a case against Avimukteshwaranand, attacked with sharp weapon
Ashutosh Brahmachari: Ashutosh Brahmachari, who had filed a case of sexual harassment in the court against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda, has been fatally attacked. This attack happened when he was going to Prayagraj by Rewa Express train. The incident occurred between Fatehpur and Sirathu railway stations in Kaushambi district.
It is being told that Ashutosh Brahmachari was attacked with a sharp weapon, due to which he was seriously injured. To save his life, he locked himself in the train toilet. In this attack, he suffered injuries in many parts of his body and was left bleeding.
Ashutosh Brahmachari was going to Prayagraj
After the incident, Ashutosh Brahmachari reached Prayagraj in an injured condition. At present his condition is said to be out of danger. In a phone conversation with ABP News, he said that the attacker was trying to cut off his nose.
Ashutosh Brahmachari has expressed suspicion of a conspiracy by Swami Avimukteshwarananda behind this attack. At present he is going to the hospital for medical examination. He has applied to register an FIR in Prayagraj GRP, in which Swami Avimukteshwaranand and others have been described as conspirators. In this matter, there is a possibility of another criminal case being registered against Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda.
Had earlier accused of sexual harassment
It is noteworthy that Ashutosh Brahmachari had earlier made serious allegations of sexual harassment against Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and had also filed a case against him in this regard. He had alleged that young Batukas (religious students) were brought from flood-affected areas and kept in ashrams and mistreated.

During a press conference in Prayagraj, Ashutosh Brahmachari had made many serious allegations against Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati. Claiming that there was inappropriate behavior in an ashram, he had also named several people whom he termed as accused. He had also said that those who call Mother Ganga dirty cannot take bath in Ganga.
