Precious Iranian horse theft case: Recovery after search from Lucknow to Unnao…this is how the secret was revealed
Lucknow: Zuljanah, a precious horse of Iranian breed, stolen from Talkatora Karbala in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, was found safe after 5 days from Maurawan of Unnao. About 5 lakh people of Shia community have deep faith in the horse.
Prayers were going on in Karbala for the safe return of the horse. Besides, a reward of Rs 50 thousand was also announced for the person who finds it. After five days of restlessness and prayers in mosques, Zuljanah is now safely back in his stable. According to Syed Faizi, former Mutawalli of Karbala, the price of the horse is currently more than Rs 70 lakh.
Syed Faizi told that on December 24, this horse had mysteriously disappeared from the stable of Talkatora Karbala. The theft incident was captured in a nearby CCTV camera, in which a person was seen taking away the horse. On the basis of this clue, Talkatora police and community people reached Unnao. After a lot of effort, the police recovered it from Mauravaan in Unnao and brought it to Lucknow amid tight security.
For Shia religious leaders and devotees, it is not just a horse, but a sacred symbol reminiscent of the ride of Imam Hussein. This horse of Iranian breed is used in Muharram processions. There are only 3 horses of this breed in the city. There was sadness in the entire community due to the disappearance of the horse.
Wishes were being made for its safety in mosques and Karbala. After the return, the community has described it as the effect of prayers. Gama, who took care of the horse, became emotional after getting it back. He told that during the days Zuljanah was away, I had missed eating and drinking.
Seeing the stables empty brought tears to my eyes. It recognizes my footsteps. Zuljanah is fed milk, gram, bran and green grass. Gama told that until the horse eats the food, he himself does not consume the food.
DCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said, the police had registered a case of theft and activated their teams. The reward of Rs 50,000 announced by the former Mutawalli and the activeness of the police made this operation successful. At present the police is searching for the accused who committed the crime.
