Preity Zinta shared a post on social media platform X on Tuesday and expressed her support for Sonam Wangchuk and the students. He also appealed to Sonam Wangchuk to end her fast considering her health.

‘Your health is equally important’

Preity Zinta wrote in her post, “I am confident that our government will initiate meaningful talks with Sonam Wangchuk and student organizations, so that her health does not deteriorate further. Sonam, please end your fast. Your health is as important as this fight.”

He further said that Sonam Wangchuk and the students are raising their voice for the future of India and the youth of the country. He extended his full support to the students and Sonam Wangchuk in this fight to improve the education system.

Sonam Wangchuk’s fast continues for a long time

Let us tell you that Sonam Wangchuk had started a fast in support of the movement from June 28. His health had deteriorated after the hunger strike continued for a long time. After this, on the 21st day of his fast, the police admitted him to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

However, according to reports, Sonam Wangchuk did not end her fast. At the same time, Delhi High Court has ordered to shift him from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital.

Produced by Aamir Khan, this film stars Sunny Deol in the lead role, while it is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film is scheduled to release on August 14.
