Premier League: Maresca on the verge of leaving Chelsea – reports
Manager Enzo Maresca is on the verge of leaving Chelsea after the club’s poor form in the recent set of Premier League fixtures, according to reports.
Chelsea has won only one out of its last seven league games and is placed fifth with 30 points after 19 rounds.
Maresca had taken the job last season and under him, Chelsea won the Conference League and the Club World Cup. However, the relationship between the 45-year-old Maresca and the club is not well, as per The Guardian.

Maresca, who has a contract till 2029, is expected to part ways with Chelsea on Thursday as the club is set to hold emergency talks over his position.
The Italian was booed by the supporters during Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge and is unlikely to be in charge when the club faces Manchester City in Manchester on Sunday.
