Kia has launched its new electric car EV2 in Europe. It is considered to be the company’s most affordable electric car so far. The car was first unveiled in January 2026 and now the price and variants have been revealed. Her bookings have started in many European countries including Germany. The car is manufactured in Slovakia and the company aims to attract more customers to electric vehicles. The starting price of this car has been set at around 26,600 Euros which is approximately Rs 29 Lakhs in Indian currency. Also, this car can be availed at low cost as it is also available on lease.

Variants and Ranges

The Kia EV2 is available in four different variants. The base ‘Light’ variant is a 4-seater with a 42.2 kWh battery and 146 hp motor. This car offers a range of around 317 km, which is perfect for the city. The ‘Air’ variant is a 5-seater with two battery options, a standard and a larger 61 kWh battery. With a large battery this car offers a range of around 453 km, which is great for long distances.

Earth and GT-Line variants

The ‘Earth’ variant is available in 4 and 5 seat options. It has a 42.2 kWh battery and a 146 hp motor and gives a range of around 308 km. This variant strikes a balance between performance and price. The ‘GT-Line’ is the most premium variant with a 61 kWh battery and 135 hp motor. This variant has a range of around 413 km and gets more luxury features and a sporty design.
