Ayodhya, 27 June. The speculations that had been going on for two days finally came to a complete end on Saturday, when Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai and Member Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra resigned from their posts. Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri confirmed this. After this, discussions have intensified that soon major changes will be made in the administrative structure of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust from Lucknow to Ayodhya.
After the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, now 3 posts are vacant in the trust.
It is being told that due to the resignations of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra, three important posts of the Trust are now vacant including one trustee post which was already vacant. In such a situation, soon the initiative to change the form of the trust will be taken by informing the Supreme Court so that the work of construction of Ram temple and the functioning of the temple and maintenance of offerings can be done in a transparent manner.
It is being told that ever since Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nirman Samiti Chairman Nripendra Mishra has suggested that there is a need to change the existing management structure of the temple and hand over the responsibility to experienced people, since then the discussion has started that soon major changes will be made in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and it will be reorganized.
People knowledgeable about legal matters say that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was formed by the Central Government in February 2020 in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court, hence dissolving the Trust or implementing a new system in its place will not be a mere administrative decision. For this the Central Government will have to adopt legal process.
If necessary, new notification or other statutory provisions may have to be made. The Central Government and the Trust officials are also aware of this process and ever since the information about theft of temple offerings has become public, everyone wants that the structure of the Trust should be improved so that similar incidents do not happen again.
Shri Ram Mandir Trust will be reorganized soon
People say that the president of the trust is Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. He remains busy in religious activities and his health is also not good. In such a situation, General Secretary Champat Rai has been handling the responsibility of the daily administrative operations of the Trust and most of the important decisions, while Trust Trustee Anil Mishra has also been playing an important role in the major decisions of the Trust.
Now both the posts have become vacant. In such a situation, some arrangement will have to be made soon so that the existing balance of the trust’s operations is not affected. That is, in order to fill the vacant posts of the Trust and there is no dispute in the operation of the Trust, the process of bringing experienced people in it will have to be started by changing the management structure of the Trust.
This is important now because offerings worth crores of rupees are coming to the Ram temple every day. Thousands of devotees come to the temple every day, it has now become necessary to keep a constant eye on their management, security arrangements, construction work, procurement, accounts and human resources. In such a situation, there is a need for changes in the administrative structure to further strengthen accountability, transparency and financial monitoring.
With the formation of the trust CEO will be appointed
Keeping this in mind, it is being said that with the reorganization of Shri Ram Mandir Trust, discussions are being held in Delhi to implement a more professional administrative system in Ayodhya on the lines of Srikashi Vishwanath Temple Dham, Tirupati and Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in the future. Soon the Shri Ram Mandir Trust will be reorganized and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be posted there. The central government will soon bring all this work to the notice of the Supreme Court.
