Preparation for the battle of 2027: BSP comes into action mode in UP, major organizational reshuffle in 6 districts and first candidate declared
digital desk- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has already started preparations with full force for the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party has taken major decisions to reorganize its traditional cadre vote bank and strengthen its hold at the grassroots level. BSP has made extensive reshuffles at the organizational level in 6 major districts including West UP and Gautam Buddha Nagar adjacent to Delhi. Along with this, in view of the upcoming elections, apart from the Dalit-Muslim equation, the party has also started focusing on its old social engineering (Brahmin and OBC society).
Veteran leaders got big responsibilities, new commanders in Kanpur and Moradabad
To revive the party, the BSP supremo has expressed confidence in old and strong faces. Under this, increasing the responsibility on the shoulders of Central Coordinator Randhir Singh Beniwal, he has been given the charge of Saharanpur as well as Moradabad division. At the same time, to strengthen the party in Kanpur division, experienced leaders like former MLC Bhimrao Ambedkar, former minister Gayacharan Dinkar and former MLC Vijay Pratap Singh have been fielded on the front so that the lost ground can be regained.
Manoj Verma became the first candidate from Akbarpur, BSP sounded the election bugle.
Amidst these organizational changes and meetings, BSP has also started opening its cards to gain an edge in the electoral field. The party has declared Manoj Verma as its official candidate from Akbarpur assembly seat of Kanpur Dehat. This is the first candidate announced by BSP for the grand contest of 2027, which clearly indicates that this time the party wants to complete the work on the selection and strategy of the candidates much in advance.
New strategy to attract scattered voters and sharpen social engineering
According to political analysts, this aggressive stance of BSP is not just an administrative change, but a deliberate exercise to bring back the voters who have distanced themselves from the party. This time Mayawati’s eyes are on reviving the Dalit-OBC and Brahmin alliance. By giving great importance to these sections in the organization and upcoming ticket distribution, BSP is trying to establish itself as a very strong and triangular alternative to the ruling BJP and the main opposition party SP in the state.
