Preparations to sharpen law and order in Bihar, command of districts handed over to 32 IPS officers

To make law and order more effective in Bihar, DGP Vinay Kumar has taken a big administrative decision. 32 senior IPS officers of the state have been given the responsibility of district police in-charge. The objective of this step is to control crime, speed up the investigation process and strengthen the judicial process.

These officers have been given the responsibility of maintaining law and order in the district as well as regular inspection of police stations, review of pending cases and ensuring speedy trials in serious crimes.
