Ingredients for Onion Sabji
3 onions,
1 tomato,
Curry leaf,
one spoon cumin,
Half spoon mustard,
One spoon dried coriander,
a pinch of turmeric,
two chopped green chillies,
green coriander leaves,
Half teaspoon red chilli,
2 tbsp oil,
salt to taste
How to make onion curry

To make onion curry, first wash onion, green chillies, green coriander and tomatoes with clean water and then chop them finely. Now turn on the gas and place a deep pan on it. When the pan becomes hot, add 2 tablespoons of oil in it. Now apply tempering with curry leaves, two chopped green chillies, one spoon cumin, half spoon mustard. When it becomes light golden, add finely chopped onion. Cover the onion so that it turns golden quickly. Keep the gas flame medium otherwise the onion may burn.
When the onion turns golden, add 2 chopped tomatoes to it. Now mix them well. Cover once again so that the tomatoes get cooked. When the tomato melts well, add one spoon of dry coriander, a pinch of turmeric, half a spoon of red chilli and salt as per taste, add a glass of water and let the vegetable cook well. Turn off the gas after 5 minutes. Your onion curry is ready. Garnish the vegetable with green coriander leaves. Eat hot vegetables with roti.
