President Draupadi Murmu reached Indore, welcomed by Governor and Chief Minister
President Draupadi Murmu reached Indore on Thursday morning by a special flight. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel welcomed him at the airport. After this the President left for Betul by Air Force helicopter.
President Draupadi Murmu came to Indore on Thursday morning by a special plane. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel welcomed him at the airport. After staying at the airport for some time, she left for Betul in an Air Force helicopter.
As per the schedule, President Draupadi Murmu’s special plane left for Indore at 7:55 am from Delhi Airport. A five kilometer area of Indore airport was declared a no-flying zone. His plane reached the airport at 9:25 am. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel welcomed him at the airstrip by presenting him a bouquet of flowers. After staying at the airport for some time, she left for Betul by helicopter.
Before the President’s visit to Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made a post on his social media account, in which he wrote, “On behalf of the people of Madhya Pradesh, I heartily welcome President Draupadi Murmu to Madhya Pradesh, the holy land of culture, rituals and art.”
Three-tier security in Indore
In view of the arrival of the President, the police administration had made three-tier security arrangements at Indore airport. Police force was deployed at the airport following the protocol of the President’s visit. Passengers were also being checked more than usual. Passengers who had flights in the morning also reached the airport on time.
