President Draupadi Murmu reached Kuno National Park, saw Cheetah Control and Command Center, will enjoy Cheetah Safari on Monday
President Draupadi Murmu, after attending the state level Yoga Day program organized in Jabalpur and the convocation ceremony of Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, reached Gwalior airport and after a short stay, reached Kuno National Park in a special helicopter of the Air Force. Here he was welcomed by local administration officials and Government-appointed Minister in Waiting Cabinet Minister Rakesh Shukla.
Along with the President, Governor Mangubhai Patel also reached Gwalior, he welcomed the President at the airport and as the representative of the Chief Minister, State Water Resources Minister and District In-charge Minister Tulsiram Silavat welcomed the President by presenting him a bunch of flowers. On this occasion, Social Justice and Horticulture Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha and Mayor Shobha Satish Sikarwar also gave him a warm welcome by presenting him a bouquet.
President Murmu will enjoy cheetah safari on Monday
After the President reached Kuno National Park, Forest Department officials informed him about the Cheetah Project. They informed the President about the progress of the Cheetah Project so far and the officials took him to the Cheetah Control and Command Centre. President Murmu will visit Kuno National Park on Monday, meet cheetah friends, hear about the experiences of cheetah monitoring team members and Kuno guides and enjoy a cheetah safari.
After completing the tour of Kuno, the President will come to Maharajpura Air Force base in Gwalior from Kuno in Sheopur by helicopter on Monday, June 22 at 10:40 am. After staying for some time, she will leave for New Delhi by Air Force aircraft.
