Ranchi: President Daupardi Murmu reached Ranchi on Sunday on a three-day visit to Jharkhand. The President will visit Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Gumla on his three-day visit to Jharkhand. The route from Hinu Chowk to Lok Bhawan will be especially affected. Citizens have been appealed to use alternative routes.

On December 28, entry and operation of all small and big goods vehicles, buses and passenger vehicles will be prohibited in Ranchi city from 4 pm to 8:30 pm. However, heavy goods vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Ring Road. On this day, vehicles going towards Ratu and Kathitand will operate via Ring Road from Kanke side.
Entry of vehicles will be completely banned from 2 pm to 8:30 pm on the routes from Hinoo Chowk, Birsa Chowk, HEC Gate, Argora Chowk, Shahjanand Chowk, Kishoreganj Chowk, New Market Chowk, Hotlips Chowk, Ram Mandir Chowk, ATI Mod, Randhir Verma Chowk, SSP Awas to Lok Bhawan. Only emergency service vehicles will be able to ply during this period.

Vehicles going to Ratu and Kathitand will go via Ring Road from Kanke side. Movement of vehicles will be restricted on the routes from Hinnu Chowk to Lok Bhawan during the stipulated time.
Apart from this, there will be no entry of big vehicles from Naya Sarai Ring Road to Rampur Chowk Ring Road. Vehicles coming from Jamshedpur and Bundu will enter the city via Tatisilve, while vehicles going from Ranchi to Jamshedpur will go from Durga Soren Chowk to Tatisilve via Ring Road. Entry of big vehicles will also be prohibited between Kharsidag OP and Sadabahar Chowk.
Entry of all small and big goods vehicles, buses and passenger vehicles will be prohibited in the city from 8 am to 4 pm on December 30. Even during this period, heavy vehicles will be able to pass through the ring road. The movement of vehicles will remain completely closed on the routes from Hinnu Chowk to Lok Bhawan till the stipulated time. The police administration has clarified that if necessary, other routes can also be diverted or closed for a short time. Common citizens have been appealed to follow traffic rules and cooperate with the administration by using alternative routes.
