French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to India: AI summit and strategic relations will get new strength
India France AI Cooperation: As part of India-France AI cooperation, French President Emmanuel Macron along with his wife Brigitte Macron will reach Mumbai on February 16 on a three-day official visit to India. This important visit is being organized with the aim of taking the strategic partnership and deep trust between India and France to new heights. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Macron will discuss in detail various bilateral issues and global challenges.
Arrival in Mumbai and bilateral talks
President Macron will reach Mumbai International Airport at 11:30 pm on February 16 from where his tour will formally begin. On February 17, he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Lok Bhavan where both the leaders will sign an important MoU. After this meeting, a joint statement will be issued which will make the joint roadmap for the future clear to the world.
Leaders of both the countries met at the ‘India-France Innovation Forum’ organized at the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. We will also register our dignified presence. ‘India-France Year of Innovation’ at the Gateway of India in the evening; And a grand cultural program will be organized in which they will participate. This event will become a strong symbol of cooperation in the field of innovation and culture between the two countries till the year 2026.
AI Impact Summit in New Delhi
In the next phase of the visit, President Macron will reach New Delhi on February 18 where he will participate in programs to be organized at Bharat Mandapam. This summit is the first AI summit to be organized in the Global South, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. On February 19, Macron will join other world leaders in a family photo and then take part in the opening ceremony.
The AI Impact Summit is bringing together delegates from across the globe to discuss the goals of inclusive development through Artificial Intelligence. President Macron will share France’s perspective on global security and technology by participating in a working lunch and Leaders Plenary session. This summit will also effectively highlight the role of technology in India’s goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Strategic future and global issues
During this visit, both the leaders will discuss about the ‘Horizon 2047 Roadmap’ We will lay special emphasis on deepening mutual cooperation in the various areas mentioned in. There will also be detailed discussions on strategic cooperation between the two countries to maintain security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. The visit will set a shining example of the shared commitment and strong diplomatic relations between Paris and New Delhi.
