New Delhi, 18 December. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed deep condolence on the demise of world famous sculptor Ram Sutar, the architect of the world’s tallest statue ‘Statue of Unity’ in Gujarat. Padma Bhushan awardee Ram Sutar passed away at the age of 100. He breathed his last on Wednesday night at his residence in Noida.

President Draupadi Murmu’s office wrote on social media platform X, ‘I am deeply saddened by the demise of Padma Bhushan awardee and renowned sculptor Ram Sutar ji.
